Meet Danny Watts, DDS, MSD
Danny Watts, DDS, of Pediatric Dentist Professionals in Austin, Texas, has practiced pediatric dentistry since 1978. His practice focuses on providing dental care to children in a comfortable, non-threatening, state-of-the-art environment.
Dr. Watts received a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Texas. He then went on to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and a Master of Science degree in dentistry from the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. He completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at Baylor and was a chief fellow at the Children's Medical Center. Dr. Watts is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Watts is active in professional societies. He’s a past president of the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is a fellow of the prestigious International College of Dentists – USA Section.
Dr. Watts is a long-time supporter of the Ronald McDonald House and has made that organization the primary focus of his practice’s philanthropy. Dr. Watts volunteers to treat international patients at Dell Children's Medical Center for Central Texas in Austin and helps special needs children throughout Texas. For more than 20 years, he has served as Chairman for Dental Services on the medical executive committee at Bailey Square Surgical Center in Austin.
On a personal level, Dr. Watts grew up in the Texas Panhandle. He and his wife have been married for over 40 years and have two adult children. Dr. Watts is a devotee of the Longhorns, works on his homestead in Spicewood, Texas, and enjoys fishing and golf.
